HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 4o OVER 40 PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE??
The participation fee is $499. The fee not only holds your date and allows us to book the hair and makeup artist for your shoot, it also covers the consultation, photoshoot, one gorgeous, matted print of your choice and your feature in the Portrait Celebration Exhibition.
WHAT DOES THE $499 INCLUDE?
CONSULTATION - To discuss how you want to be photographed and to plan the wardrobe and styling and couture fashion selections from Rent The Runway.
HAIR & MAKEUP - A professional makeover on your photoshoot date.
PHOTOSHOOT - a 1.5 - 2 hour photoshoot with Tammy
REVEAL & ORDER SESSION - an in person session (in our studio or online via video conferencing software) to look at the 20-30 images we have created for you. At this session you can choose the one complimentary image in your $499 package and place your order for more images. Additional images are $200 per image and packages start at $950.
PORTRAIT CELEBRATION + EXHIBITION - upon completion of the project there will be a celebration and exhibition to showcase the portraits of all 40 women. Your photograph will be included in this event!
FEATURED ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA - your images will be featured on our social media.
WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAN ONE PHOTOGRAPH?
Absolutely! When you see the stunning images we have created for you, you'll mostly likely want them all! There are options for fine art gallery prints, wall art and folio boxes. Additional images are $200 each and our packages start at $950. We do take credit cards and offer payment plans as well.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS FOR SALE
I offer beautiful products to store and display your new photographs, including matted prints, folio boxes, albums and wall art. My most popular item is a folio box that allows you to include multiple images from your session. Wall art is offered in different mediums and is a great way to display your images.
WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?
My portrait studio is in Bolton, MA. We will spend most of the session in studio, but if weather permits, we will make use of the gorgeous field on my property.
WHAT DAYS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE FOR THIS SHOOT?
We have time slots available for shoots during weekdays and weekends by appointment. Availability is first come first served. On your phone chat with Tammy she will share next available dates and make sure to find an opening that works for you. We are also coordinating with the make up artists schedule.
TELL ME ABOUT THE PORTRAIT EXHIBITION & CELEBRATION?
One of the most exciting parts of this project is to celebrate all of our participants and share your images and stories with the community. There will also be a final celebration featuring each woman on display once the project is complete. Our venue will be announced as we get closer.
WHY ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS PROJECT?
I started my portrait photography business because I love creating beautiful artwork through portraits. As we get older, we get to a place where we can reflect on our lives and accomplishments. We all have life stories, filled with both joys and heartaches. I want to hear your story and capture your true beauty as we create beautiful portraits that represent where you are today. I want to hear about how you have stepped into your power after 40 and what beauty means to you. It's my passion to help women feel great about themselves and feel beautiful, empowered and to embrace who they have become as we age.
WHAT WILL I WEAR?
You can wear up to 6 different outfits in your photoshoot. I have options for beautiful gowns in different sizes at my studio so you can play DRESS UP! Or, you can be casual in jeans and a black or white shirt. You could even wear lingerie or a sheet for a sexy look, there are no rules. This is up to you! Together we will come up with the style and direction for your shoot.
WHAT IF I'D LIKE TO INCLUDE MY CHILDREN, PARTNER, PET OR FAMILY?
Yes! You can definitely include loved ones in your shoot! Extra hair and make up is $200 per person (if needed). Part of your story is the people (and furry pets) you love. So if you want to include your loved ones, the more the merrier. We will first focus on you and then we can add any additional loved ones towards the end of the session. And you also have total permission to make this photoshoot just about YOU!
WHAT IF I BOOKED MY DATE & PAID $499 AND THEN HAVE TO RESCHEDULE?
I totally understand that life happens! I do book in my hair & makeup artist's time to be at your photoshoot. Therefore, you are allowed one reschedule more than 7 days out from the shoot at no charge. If we have less than 7 days notice (or this is the second time you need to reschedule) we do charge a $100 rescheduling fee.
HOW ARE YOU CHOOSING WHO PARTICIPATES?
Every woman's story is inspiring. Every woman is beautiful. So we aren't going to exclude anyone who wants to be involved. Basically, this project is first come, first served. If you are willing to connect with Tammy for a "get to know you" call pay your $499 participation fee book your date are over 40 (or turning 40 this year) you can be a part of the shoot! YAY! The other limit is that we only have 40 spots available. Once we hit 40 women, we will create a waitlist of interested women.
